WHO IS CAPA AND WHAT DO WE DO

Citizens Assisting Police in Apex (CAPA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works in collaboration with the Apex Police Department and the Town of Apex to support public safety and charitable actions through volunteer service.

CAPA members assist in non-law enforcement roles at community events and support outreach initiatives throughout the year. Volunteers are not sworn officers and do not carry weapons or make arrests.

CAPA also shows support for our officers by sponsoring appreciation events, helping ensure they feel valued and supported by the community they serve.

In addition to event support, CAPA collaborates with other community-focused organizations to serve local residents and help build a stronger, safer Apex community.
