2020 Summer Shred Day

July 18, 2020

Last weekend may have been scorchingly hot, but CAPA Members braved the heat, met with Apex PD Officers and served the Apex Community at our bi-annual Shred Day event held on July 18, 2020. For over 3 hours, volunteers ushered cars into the Apex municipal parking lot, and while wearing masks and practicing social distancing, they helped over 400 cars empty their documents into one of two large shredding trucks provided by ProShred. Twice a year, residents of the Apex Community line up well in advance of the start time to take advantage of this free service. Make sure you follow CAPA and the Apex Police Department on Facebook to find out when the next Shred event will be scheduled!
